Envirotile are plastic interlocking recycled roof tiles made from recycled plastic bottles.
Envirotile are doing three roof projects for case studies during September .
- A low pitched Chalet in Kettering , customers have never been able to put a roof tile on their property until now due to the very low 15 degree pitch.
- A property in Lincolnshire where the property has tiles made from Asbestos ,these are being removed and replaced by Envirotiles ,
- and another roof is a summerhouse in Cannock that requires lightweight tiles due to the lightweight timber structure.
Green Roof Tile Company will also be marketing an innovative integrated Solar tile based on the Envirotile design , each tile produces 8.2 watts , 14 m2 will produce over 1.5 kilo watts of solar electricity to an inverter for Grid connection . Simple installation of the solar tiles will only require the services of a roofer . The other advantage of using these innovative solar tiles is that they are 14.5 mm thick weigh 20 kilos per m2 and the surrounding tiles are recycled plastic and unbreakable . meaning no problem of future maintenance with broken tiles which currently is a problem with heavier solar panel fixing . GRTC are seeking business opportunities with main UK ,European , Solar Installers . The Enviro Solar Tile will be marketed and distributed for January 1st 2012 . Trials and accreditation will be conducted from October November this year . due to the solar tile being based on the Envirotile most testing accreditation is already in place. A European patent has just been granted for the Envirotile.
