NetRegs, the environmental regulation portal for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), will be moving its guidance to a centralised website early next year as the Government works to close 75 per cent of its websites by March 2011.
The Environment Agency, the organisation NetRegs falls under, said the aim of the exercise was to create a single online Government service for businesses of all sizes, so users can find everything they need to know about running a business and complying with regulations in one spot. Each country within the UK will have its own designated business website.
