Speaking at the National Household Hazardous Waste Forum, October 21 in London, the company's national recycling manager, Bill Griffiths, outlined several scenarios in which companies and shops were running the risk of a potential fire due to a lack of understanding.
He also highlighted issues that needed to be taken into account by those offering battery collection points - one of the most pertinent being the need to alert insurance companies.
