The community strand of the West Midlands Low Carbon Economy Programme, which Sustainabilty West Midlands is managing on behalf of Improvement and Efficiency West Midlands (IEWM), has been commissioned with Marches Energy Agency and Localise West Midlands.
This project will run until December 2011 and will include:
· Direct advice, guidance and support for up to 12 community-owned renewable energy projects towards successful implementation (around 5-10 days of tailored support per group).
· Development of a network of 40 mentors to support other groups to implement similar community-owned renewable energy projects in future.
